Privacy notice
This notice explains what the Academy stores, why it is used, who can access it and how to exercise your choices.
These points apply throughout Hoenix Academy.

Authorized Academy administrators can access member records for support, security and service operation. Protected member-detail views and role changes are audited.
Signed-in members can download a read-only JSON copy of supported server-stored Academy data from Profile.
A recommendation cannot change a plan, create a task or start a practice without a member action.
The Academy is a separate service from the public Hoenix music website. Its verified legal controller, postal address and privacy contact will appear on the Legal notice before paid enrollment opens.
Those details are not currently published. Paid enrollment is therefore not available; the page does not replace missing particulars with assumptions.
Account data includes email, protected password credentials, display name, language, time zone, sessions and security events. Profile data can include preferences and notification settings.
Development data can include assessment answers and scores, plans, check-ins, practice sessions and feedback, reflection and context notes, tasks, course progress, Guided Path state, XP and streak evidence.
Service data can include membership requests and access history, Telegram connection hashes, support messages and replies, administrator audit events and limited technical logs used for security and reliability.
Account, plan, course and progress data are used to provide the service requested by the member and to take steps requested before membership. Support data is used to answer the request.
Assessment answers that may reveal health information are used only after explicit consent to calculate Academy indicators and prepare a personal plan. Consent can be withdrawn; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Security, abuse prevention, essential logging and narrowly scoped administrator audit are used for the operator’s legitimate interest in running a safe service. Records required for invoices or disputes would be kept under the applicable legal obligation.
Members see their own account views. Authorized Academy administrators have broad operational access for support, moderation, security, content administration and maintenance.
Hosting, email and other contracted providers may process only the information needed for their role. Their identities, locations and any safeguards for transfers outside the European Economic Area will be stated before paid enrollment opens.
A YouTube lesson is not loaded automatically. Pressing Play connects the browser to YouTube/Google, which may receive the IP address and browser or device information and apply its own terms.
An unfinished onboarding draft saved on the server expires after seven days of inactivity. Transactional email outbox records are limited to 90 days. Browser-only assessment and practice drafts use session storage and disappear when that browser session is cleared.
Other current account and activity records do not yet have an automated expiry and remain until an authorized deletion review. A category-by-category deletion schedule will be published before paid enrollment opens.
For a manual PayPal review, payer details and the full transaction ID are kept for no more than the period stated at submission, between 7 and 90 days. They are erased as soon as an administrator approves or rejects the submission. A short reference suffix, status and audit dates may remain; expired submissions must also be deleted on schedule before paid enrollment opens. Any accounting record required by law is kept separately. The Academy does not request payment screenshots.
The application uses strictly necessary session and security cookies for sign-in and protected requests. Refusing those cookies means the private Academy cannot keep a signed-in session.
The earlier beta funnel cookie and automatic landing analytics are disabled in this release. The public landing cleanup removes the old journey cookie and its linked funnel events when present. No optional analytics or advertising cookie is set by the current Academy application.
Session storage is used for interrupted assessment or practice drafts. It is not used for cross-site advertising.
Depending on the processing and its legal basis, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time.
Use Profile for the supported JSON export and Contact & data requests for an identity-verified request. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority, the CNIL.
