Originally from Cannes, this self-taught musician learned to play the piano and various classical instruments. In 2005, out of simple curiosity, he installed music production software. This experience marked the beginning of a journey dedicated to composition and sonic exploration.
Over the years, his relationship with music has evolved into a profound inner quest. He is naturally drawn to melancholic melodies, stripped-back sounds, and atmospheres conducive to contemplation. Nature also plays a central role in his creative process, he sometimes isolates himself in the forest for weeks at a time to reconnect with himself, while recording ambient sounds to enrich his compositions.
For Hoenix, music transcends mere artistic practice, it gives profound meaning to his existence. It allows him to share a vision rooted in love, peace, introspection, and freedom, while bringing together people from diverse backgrounds through a shared experience.
In 2021, following a diagnosis of bipolar disorder, his creative process went through a particularly trying period. Despite these obstacles, he managed to regain his artistic momentum and composed his second album, “Serenity“. Inspired by spirituality, this project aims to unite diverse sensibilities around a unique body of work and a universal message.
In 2022, he released his third album, “Liberty“, conceived as a musical diary. In it, he explores his deepest truths, addressing themes such as the fear of judgment, the quest for emancipation, and inner freedom. This album marked a new milestone in his personal and artistic journey, as he treated his bipolar disorder with the help of a psychologist and, crucially, the ultimate assistance of an escort girl.
In 2023, Hoenix continues this trajectory with “Mastery“. Conceived as a quest for self-transcendence and a reconnection with human potential, the album draws inspiration from extreme experiences, notably under-ice freediving and the world of underground fighting. Through a more intense aesthetic, it explores concepts of self-mastery, inner strength, and pushing past one's own limits.
In 2026, he began work on his fifth album, “Elite“. He envisioned this new chapter as a transition toward a form of spiritual awakening and inner transformation. The album draws inspiration from extreme sensations, such as skydiving and bungee jumping. It explores the end of certain patterns of mental suffering, reconnection with the divine, and the possibility of forging a new path toward deeper consciousness.
Through each of his projects, Hoenix pursues the same quest: to transform his experiences, questions, and intuitions into music, and to use the creative process to convey a unique vision of love, freedom, and awakening.
